Our production capacity

The production capacity of our FPSOs is:

  • Oil production capacity of 80,000 net barrels of oil per day, plus 10,500 associated barrels of diluent.
  • Gas handling capacity of 174 MMscfd, including gas lift.
  • Water treatment and disposal capacity of 100,000 barrels of water per day.
  • Seawater injection capacity of 150,000 barrels of water per day.

Turret Mooring System

The FPSO is configured with an internal turret towards the bow, performing two mission-critical functions:

  • Geo-Stationary Positioning: Using a Multi-Bogie Bearing System (MBBS), the turret allows the FPSO hull to "weathervane" (rotate freely) around the anchor legs, adopting the path of least resistance against waves and wind while the turret remains fixed.
  • Fluid Transfer: It facilitates the seamless transfer of fluids and ancillary services from the subsea wells through the fixed turret, up to the rotating vessel via a swivel stack assembly.

The Vessel & Storage

The FPSO Aseng is more than just a processing plant; it is a massive floating storage facility. The hull contains the cargo tanks for storing processed crude oil before offloading to export tankers.

We maintain rigorous structural integrity programs to ensure the vessel withstands offshore conditions while maintaining continuous production uptime. Safety systems, including fire suppression and emergency evacuation protocols, are integrated into the vessel's core design.
